10 Habits to always have a clean home

1) Always have cleaning products easily accessible. If you're ever at home and notice something dirty that you just can't ignore but you don't have the proper supplies to get the job done, then chances are you won't be able to clean it. Having buildup around the house that bothers you can leave someone frustrated and clutter your mind with negativity. It is so much better for your sanity to have what you need to get the job done as soon as you're ready to do it. The best way to do this is to make a list of all the supplies you need, then organize them in an easy to reach area once you have purchased them. 2) Keep your supplies in the room you need them. Put your bathrooms supplies in your bathroom and kitchen cleaners in your kitchen. Certain supplies can be used in both so if you can, purchase one for each. This allows your to clean on the spot when you need to. Having bathroom supplies for a each bathroom can be accessive if you have more than one, in this case having a designated spot for them could be better. Another idea is to move them from the bathroom you just cleaned to the one you will clean next. That way when you're ready for the next bathroom, everything you need is there.
3) Spot clean what you see. If you have little kids that like to open cupboards, touch the walls or windows with their dirty hards, have a rag and some all purpose cleaner on hand. if you happen to notice anything building up, just do a quick pass with the cloth to get rid of it. Its astonishing to see what a difference this one habit can make. if you're unsure, take note of the buildup you see when you don't spot clean.
4) Have a designated day for each room. Spot cleaning regularly is a great way of keeping up with life daily spills, but doing a full clean of one area a week will really make a difference. Sometimes we don't notice everything that builds up while we spot clean. Were all busy and usually doing that while keeping up with daily life. A thorough scrub of one room a week will ensure that nothing is building up or needs repair right under your nose. A common area with buildup is calcium around your faucet. Its hard to see at a glance but difficult to remove without professional, and not many house cleaners have the knowledge to do so. Keeping up with an area like that by just keeping it dry will save you a headache later on.
5) Pick up clutter off the floor. By simply keeping your floor and walkways clear you make your home look much cleaner and more open. areas that tend to hold clutter can be concealed with a bin or container that will fit in with your home decor. One thing we were noticing around our house was the amount of laundry on the floor. we changed this by putting a basket right where we naturally throw them. Another excellent add was a decor box for our children art supplies. all the toilet paper rolls, tissue boxes, and other craft supplies from around the house can be stored in there while looking great in our home. It took away the cluttered look but also added a nice touch to our home.
6) Make the beds. The fastest and easiest way to make your room look well put together is to make the beds. It can take you all of 5 minutes but have you feeling better about your room all day
7) Clear clutter off your surfaces. A fast way to clear your table, coffee table and counter tops is to grab a small garbage bin and fill it up as you walk from surface to surface. Next, remove all the dishes and out them in the sick or dish washer. If you have an excess of clutter, grab an empty bin and fill it up with all the dishes you find. Next will be "others" anything else that isn't garbage , recycling or dishes will go in a separate bin for sorting.
8) Clean your surfaces. All you really need is a microfibre cloth and all purpose cleaner to make your place smell and look clean. By simply wiping the surfaces in your home you'll give them that added shine for a professionally cleaned look.
9) Vacuum regularly. Whether you vacuum a little at a time or you do your whole house at once, vacuuming will make all the difference. No one likes stepping on a dirty floor or getting crumbs stuck to their feet. After you have dusted and wiped your surfaces, walk through your home with a vacuum
10) Mop after you vacuum. Vacuuming does a great job at picking up surface dust and crumbs, but mopping will lift that embedded dirt that can't be suctioned up.
