Yes you read that right. Since you're going to get wet while you clean your bath or shower anyway, why not do it while you're already in there.

To make this as convenient as possible you need to organize your cleaning supplies. What I like to do is keep a shelf of cleaning supplies within an arms reach of the shower. That way whenever I'm in there and notice that it needs a touch up, I can grab my sponge and Vim in a pinch. Another orgainization tip is to keep a sponge and cleaner in your actual shower with you just like your shampoo and conditioner. It doesn't matter if it gets wet so why not make it a staple in your shower just as you do the cleaners for your body.

What you'll need:

~Sponge with soft and rough side

~Tile brush if needed for grout

~Cream cleaner (Vim or Barkeepers Friend Cream cleanser)

~Glass spray or 1pt Vinegar and 1pt water

~ A tall container for rinsing if your don't have a removable shower head (anything that holds water will work here. preferably something you can hold with one hand. Parents with young kids can use their children's hair rinse cup)

~ Fluffy Blue microfibre cloth to shine chrome

To start, grab your cleanser and add it to the rough side of your sponge.

Scrub your shower from top to bottom, left to right. Start with your walls and shelving, then work your way down to the tub or tiles. Glass showers can be cleaned the same way as long as the seals don't leak.

Rinse your walls off with the shower head or tall container.

If you have tiles, grab the grout brush and lightly brush over the grout. Sometimes you will see areas with a pink film. That film is bacteria that has grown over time. It is very easy to remove and is done with a grout brush. To help prevent that film from growing again, spray the area with the vinegar and water mix.

The final step in cleaning your shower is to spray your chrome faucet with the vinegar and water mix. This spray will help remove any hard water spots. Make sure to only use the soft side of your sponge when cleaning chrome as it will scratch the finish. Making sure the sponge is fully rinsed will help this as well.

My tip for chrome is to wait until after your shower before spraying and then wiping with a microfibre. The best microfibre for polishing chrome is linked below.
